Bookkeeper Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable

• * This position will be responsible for:**
• Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Handling accounts payable and vendor payments
• Maintain general ledger and perform double-entry bookkeeping
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Submit weekly invoices to third party payers
• Enter invoices into the Georgia Medicaid System (GAMMIS)
• Assist with financial reports, budgeting and account analysis
• Work closely with leadership and external accountants
• * Qualifications:**
• 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of AR/AP processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience in healthcare or medical billing
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
