The Project Engineer reports to and is responsible to the Project Manager of the project. They are responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.

• Understand and assist in the implementation of project goals.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed.
• Expedite and ensure the on-time or early delivery of all project components and trades in the planned sequence.
• Prepare, expedite, and monitor logs for various project components such as RFIs, submittals, etc.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate construction progress and trade performance.
• Execute timely and thorough approval of all submittals from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with preparing subcontracts, purchase orders and any subsequent change orders .
• Assist with preparing Owner Change Order Requests and Logs.
• Maintain a complete and accurate set of as-built documents.
• Provide technical assistance research to the project team.
• Execute all steps for a timely project close-out.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a positive working relationships with all project team members.
• Must be committed to contributing to a culture of SAFETY!!

• College degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of design and construction matters.
• Proficient in plan take-off.
• Confident in ability to understand and assist in the implementation of project goals.
• Excellent technical skills; understanding of computer software, hardware.
• Proficient in, or ability to learn, plan take-off and Microsoft Office software suite.
• Works well independently or with a group dynamic.
• Travel 50% as needed.

• Jobsite will involve exposure to varying noise and dust levels.
