South Carolina Attorney

The Covenant Law Group represents policyholders in property insurance claims across the Carolinas. We are looking for a part-time South Carolina licensed attorney to serve as the qualifying attorney for our South Carolina office and to oversee our South Carolina property insurance cases. You will work alongside a team of paralegals and resolution specialists before litigation, and with co-counsel once a case goes to suit. Training provided.

• Serve as the qualifying attorney for the firm's South Carolina office.
• Oversee and support property insurance cases at the pre-litigation stage.
• Work with paralegals, resolution specialists, insurance company adjusters and opposing counsel through the pre-litigation process.
• Manage cases with co-counsel through the litigation process.
• Give legal guidance and review to the case team as needed.
• Join our weekly staff meeting.
• Experience
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina, in good standing (required).
• Property insurance, first-party claims or civil litigation experience is welcome but not required. Training provided by attorney with 40 years experience litigating property insurance claims.
• Takes a strong pro-active approach vs. reactive...We are here to win and provide excellence in service to our clients.
• Able to work on a flexible, part-time schedule.
• Needs excellent communication skills for team and clients.

From $72,000.00 per year
