Cost Accountant - Manufacturing

We're looking for a Cost Accountant to own material costing for our manufacturing operations. You'll work across thousands of bills of materials, each with thousands of parts. You'll spot cost changes quickly and explain what caused them, such as new price agreements, engineering change notices, or item change requests. During business planning, you'll provide material costs based on planned production, often under tight deadlines. We want a self-starter who will improve our current processes, make them simpler, and show where they can get better.

Must-haves

• Strong cost accounting background in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of standard and moving average costing
• Experience analyzing large, complex BOMs and explaining cost changes (pricing, ECNs, item changes)
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to learn and work within an existing ERP/costing system
• A self-starter who improves processes and can deliver accurate numbers under deadline pressure

• $70,000-$79,000 base salary
