Sr Estimator

The SR ESTIMATOR is a full-time, on-site role based in Jonesboro, GA. This position reviews project plans and specifications, performs detailed takeoffs, and prepares accurate estimates and bids for commercial glazing projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing labor, material, and equipment costs, coordinating with project managers and suppliers, and updating estimates as project conditions change. The SR ESTIMATOR communicates with general contractors and clients to clarify scope, answer questions, and support contract negotiations. This role also helps improve estimating processes, maintain historical cost data, and support strategic decision-making for the company’s project pipeline.

• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications and glazing details with strong attention to accuracy and completeness.
• Experience with estimating or construction management software and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, email).
• Solid mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to evaluate costs, identify discrepancies, and propose practical solutions, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, vendors, and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines, organize workloads, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Relevant experience in commercial glazing, curtainwall, storefront, and other building envelope systems.
• Prior senior estimating experience is required.
