TurboTax Local Service Expert

You will work directly with clients at a TurboTax location, playing a crucial role in empowering them to achieve financial success while contributing to Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.'

You'll collaborate with a strong team of financial experts, serving customers in-person and virtually, with a focus on comprehensive tax return preparation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing hands-on tax advice and preparing returns for various tax situations, from simple W-2 filings to more complex business income scenarios.
• Facilitating discovery sessions to identify deductions, optimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning advice.
• Building and nurturing relationships with clients, transitioning them into loyal customers by providing exceptional service and support.

As a Local Service Expert, you will also:

• Act as a proactive community ambassador, engaging with local prospects through targeted marketing initiatives and events.
• Organize local financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings to foster community engagement and brand awareness.
• Connect clients to additional Intuit services like bookkeeping and payroll, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.

Key Qualifications: We prefer candidates who have:

• Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Practicing Attorney status with a strong tax preparation background.
• A minimum of 3 years of paid experience in tax filing, with proficiency in using tax preparation software.
• A willingness to learn and expand into additional service areas, such as bookkeeping or payroll.

Additionally, you should be:

• Entrepreneurial and self-driven, eager to grow your client base.
• A strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills, ready to contribute to community events and outreach.

This role requires on-site presence at a TurboTax location in the United States (specific address provided during the application process) for a minimum of 20 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time. Candidates must be flexible during peak tax season.
